2.) RIHANNA V. PARENTS TELEVISION COUNCIL

The Parents Television Council is not pleased with singer Rihanna. The PTC is calling out what they perceive to be a double standard in the singer’s new music video which features the gunning down of a rapist. The PTC says that if Chris Brown were to have filmed a similar video there would be much more scrutiny.

3.) PARIS HILTON IS NOT A SLUT (according to her)

Heiress Paris Hilton is denying any allegations that she is a ‘slut’ because of the sex tape, featuring her, that was released. She says that it is something she is not proud of yet something she will have to live with

4.) GOING BACK TO REHAB

They tried to make her go to rehab and succeeded, AGAIN. Amy Winehouse checking in to a treatment center once again after a brief relapse.

New York Rep. Anthony Weiner denied Wednesday sending a lewd photo from his Twitter account to a 21-year-old woman, trying to calm a media furor that has only increased by the day and wasn’t put to rest by the combative lawmaker’s latest comments.

Weiner also acknowledged he “can’t say with certitude” that the photo of a man’s bulging underpants wasn’t him.

HOUSE GOP UPSET WITH OBAMA

House Republicans gave President Obama an earful Wednesday over their concerns regarding unemployment, the national debt and government regulation, a day after the House’s decisive vote against raising the debt ceiling.

Their White House meeting marked the latest development in budget negotiations that for months have failed to yield a compromise. Without a deal to cut spending, House Republicans say they cannot approve an increase in the nation’s $14.3 trillion debt ceiling.

Emerging from the meeting, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, described the discussion Wednesday as “frank” and “very productive.”
